1. SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT
2. STRUCTURE YOUR PURCHASE
In Step 2, we will work with you to write your purchase agreement. The process of this step can vary depending on if you are purchasing a completed home, one currently under construction, or starting from scratch. We will work with you to get all of the appropriate paperwork in place, ensuring you feel completely comfortable and confident before leaving our office. If you purchase a home from scratch or under construction, Steps 3-6 will apply to you. If you purchased a completed home, jump to Step 7!
3. DESIGN YOUR HOME
In Step 3, you'll work with the Design Team at Thomsen Homes to incorporate items that are tailored to your personal style. This can be overwhelming for some, but at Thomsen, your Designer will talk you through the process step by step. Your Designer will walk you through selecting the design and finishes from the exterior through the interior. The small details matter and make the house your home, so we'll be sure to suggest and point things out that may be beneficial for you in your new home.

8. CLOSING
9. INITIAL WALK THROUGH & WARRANTY WORK DAY
An Initial Walk Through will take place 0-60 days after closing where your Client Support Coordinator will be available to answer any questions you may have and address any items of importance. Items that fall within warranty standards will be completed on scheduled Warranty Work Day. Thomsen Homes plans to have all trades/vendors present at the Warranty Work Day, so there is less need for you to take time out of your schedule to have warranty work addressed. The Warranty Work Day will take place 4-6 weeks after your Initial Walk Through.
10. YEAR-END WALK THROUGH
The Year-End Walk Through happens around the 10-11 month anniversary of your closing. This follows the same process as the Initial Walk Through, only this is the time we would address drywall repairs that fall within warranty standards. The goal is to have all warranty work completed by your 1-year anniversary!
