Hours: 8am – 5pm
POSITION SUMMARY
Thomsen Homes is one of the largest single-family home builders in the state, locally owned and operating in the Fargo and Grand Forks areas. We are currently seeking a Design Assistant to join our Design and Drafting team in Fargo, ND. The individual needs to share our core values of integrity, drive, innovation, loyalty and is family oriented. The Design team at Thomsen Homes is responsible for creating a unique and memorable experience for each client. As the Design Assistant, you will work directly with our team, clients, vendors, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate for this position is very personable, driven, responsive, organized, and creative.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with client(s) to schedule design meetings
- Prepare client binders for Design Specialist(s)
- Assist Design Specialist(s) by documenting client selections during meetings
- Showcase the design studio and samples for clients
- Coordinate and execute electrical walkthroughs
- Work directly with Design Specialist(s) on managing individual projects to ensure information is gathered and in place to keep the construction process on schedule

- Design or Construction experience preferred
