POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY:
Thomsen Homes is a rapidly expanding residential construction company currently seeking a Construction Manager for the Fargo, ND area. We’re looking for a Construction Manager with similar values and beliefs who can translate his or her expertise and skills to the Thomsen team.
This position will be responsible for project completion, subcontractor management, and jobsite safety. As the Construction Manager, you will work with the Thomsen construction team to complete projects effectively, efficiently, and safely. The ideal candidate for this position is a strong leader, driven, and a multitasker.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete all projects accurately, on time, and safely
- Manage subcontracted teams for each project
- Ensure job-site safety for all parties involved
- Conduct quality checkpoints for the following stages: framing, insulation, sheetrock, paint, millwork, and final
- Conduct electrical and final walk-throughs with clients
- Variable hours dependent on seasons
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Ability to manage a job from start to finish
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Driven to complete tasks
- Experience in a related position
