Title: Architectural Drafter

Days of Operation: Monday – Friday Hours: 8am – 5pm
POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY:
Thomsen Homes is a rapidly expanding residential general contractor in the FM area. We are currently seeking a detail oriented and experienced Architectural Drafter who shares our core values of integrity, drive, innovation, loyalty and is family oriented. The position will report to the Director of Design & Client Relations and work with the Design Team to draft and update housing plans, and keep standard plans current.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Understand the overall construction process to ensure changes aren’t being made at times they shouldn’t be
• Draft client homes during Design Meetings
• Update plans for projects as requested
• Communicate to team members and sub-contractors when plan changes occur
• Log plan changes that are made for future reference
• Help with permit process
• Help with standard plan updates, and new plan development as needed

• High Capability in Revit, with solid knowledge in AutoCAD, V-ray, and SketchUp

• Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting
