Specials assessments help to keep the purchase prices of new homes lower. Essentially, they are the costs of the infrastructure for the neighborhood (streets, sewers, utilities, etc). Instead of adding the special assessments into the lot price, the city will finance those costs…generally over 25 years. The annual payment appears on your county tax bill each year. If your lender escrows for taxes and insurance, you will see this amount included as part of your monthly house payment. If you don't own your home over the entire time period of the assessment financing, you will pass on the remaining balance to the next owner.

Throughout the process, you'll participate in several meetings, both in our state-of-the-art Design Studio, as well as on-site at your home.
